BY CAR

From Manhattan:
Take either the east or west side routes north to the Cross Bronx Expressway.  Take this eastbound to the Bronx River Parkway northbound. Follow Bronx River Parkway directions below.

From Queens or Long Island:
Take  the Whitestone Bridge north. This will put you directly onto the Hutchinson River Parkway northbound. Follow Hutchinson River Parkway directions below.
or
Take the Throgs Neck Bridge north to the Cross Bronx Expressway westbound.  Exit at the Bronx River Parkway northbound.  Follow Bronx River Parkway directions below.


From Upstate New York (west side of the Hudson River):

Take the New York State Thruway south over the Tappan Zee Bridge. Continue on 287 to the Sprain Brook Parkway southbound. This runs directly into the Bronx River Parkway. Follow Bronx River Parkway directions below.


From Upstate New York (east side of the Hudson River):

Take the Taconic State Parkway south to the Sprain Brook Parkway southbound. This will run directly into the Bronx River Parkway southbound. Follow Bronx River Parkway directions below.
or
Take 95 south to the Hutchinson River Parkway southbound. Follow Hutchinson River Parkway directions below.

From the Bronx River Parkway:
    Bronx River Parkway to Pelham Parkway east.
    Pelham Parkway to Eastchester Road - make right (from service road).
    Take Eastchester Road three lights to Morris Park Avenue.
    The concert hall (Robbins Auditorium) is on the right just past Morris Park Avenue before the Albert Einstein Hospital, or you can enter from 1300 Morris Park Avenue (Forchheimer Building).
From Hutchinson River Parkway:
    Hutchinson River Parkway to Pelham Parkway west.
    Pelham Parkway to Eastchester Road - make left.
    Take Eastchester Road three lights to Morris Park Avenue.
    The concert hall (Robbins Auditorium) is on the right just past Morris Park Avenue before the Albert Einstein Hospital, or you can enter from 1300 Morris Park Avenue (Forchheimer Building).
From Connecticut:

Get to the Hutchinson River Parkway going south. Follow Hutchinson River Parkway directions above.

From New Jersey:

Take George Washington Bridge and continue on the Cross Bronx Expressway to the Bronx River Parkway north to Pelham Parkway. Follow Bronx River Parkway directions above.


BY MASS TRANSIT

  • No. 2 Subway (7th Ave Express/Local) or No. 5 Subway (Lexington Ave Express) to E 180 St Morris Park Ave station (Bronx). Exit station onto Morris Park Ave; cross street and get Bx21 ("Morris Park") Bus to Morris Park Ave at Eastchester Rd (about a 15 minute ride). Medical school complex is on corner. The concert hall (Robbins Auditorium) is on Eastchester Rd. on the right just past Morris Park Avenue before the Albert Einstein Hospital, or you can enter from 1300 Morris Park Avenue (Forchheimer Building) .
  • No. 6 Subway (Lexington Ave Local/Express) to Westchester Sq-E Tremont Ave station. Bx21 bus stops just outside of station (to right as one exits). Take to Morris Park Ave at Eastchester Rd. (NOTE: This is from the opposite direction as from "E 180 St Morris Park Av" and is about a 10 minute ride.) The concert hall (Robbins Auditorium) is on Eastchester Rd. on the right just past Morris Park Avenue before the Albert Einstein Hospital, or you can enter from 1300 Morris Park Avenue (Forchheimer Building) .
  • The BxM-10 Express Bus run by New York Bus Service (Phone: 718-994-5500) originates at Madison Ave & E 24th St and makes several stops in Manhattan northbound along Madison Ave, then along 3rd Ave up to E 86th St before proceeding to Bronx. Departures on Sundays are every hour on the hour. Trip takes just under one hour from originating point to Morris Pk Ave/Eastchester Rd bus stop (same as city buses indicated above).  The concert hall (Robbins Auditorium) is on Eastchester Rd. on the right just past Morris Park Avenue before the Albert Einstein Hospital, or you can enter from 1300 Morris Park Avenue (Forchheimer Building) .
